My name is Susanne van Ewijk. I am Dutch and live in Switzerland since 2009. I studied in the Netherlands and am a graduated teacher since 1998. During my first years of teaching, I was strongly attracted to schoolkids having special educational needs. I studied to learn how to accompany these kids in the regular school system and became a specialized teacher.
After this I wanted to help my colleagues having trouble at school and went for the coach qualification. For some years, next to my job as a teacher, I coached teachers in the Netherlands.
I became a coach for children and adults (8 to 99 years old) because I am passionate about personal development. I love the moments when my clients become aware of what is going on inside them. I really like the different emotional management techniques to help my clients soothe their emotions and understand the need behind them.
Coaching is a magical experience for me. I am amazed by the confidence that is reinstalled inside people when they regain their strength and resources or when old wounds begin to be healed.
I am a caring and attentive person. I don’t judge and see coaching as a real puzzle that you have to do together. I question and propose activities, I try to help my clients move towards their personal goals.
All work goals are welcome. I will give you a few examples:
During the coaching sessions, I use different means of work. I am a certified coach of the game Cap sur la Confiance. I also offer questionnaires, quizzes, games and other activities.
When it is impossible for you to do face-to-face coaching sessions, it is possible to organize remote sessions.
I am looking forward to meeting you and to help you achieve your goals.
